BBQ in the Rain – A Bridgwater Chamber Tradition!

Thursday 25th July, 2024

We held our annual Summer Social Barbecue yesterday at the beautiful Greenway Farm. The event was a success, thanks to our gracious hosts at Greenway Farm, marked by a delicious BBQ and desserts.

We extend our gratitude to Timeless Images for sponsoring the event. Their support was instrumental in bringing this community gathering to life.

These annual events highlight the strong community of businesses in Bridgwater, with regular faces continually supporting the Chamber and engaging with both old and new businesses in the area. It was fantastic to see a few new faces, either new to the area or considering moving here.

Over the past few months, there have been some changes within the Chamber. We sadly bid farewell to Diogo Rodrigues as the Chamber Manager. However, we are excited to announce our new Chamber Manager, Roger Smith. Roger is a familiar face, having previously served as the Chamber Manager before Diogo. We are thrilled to have him back in his new role.

Roger Smith shared his thoughts on the event, stating:

I really could not have wished for a better experience for my first official engagement as General Manager. It was great to share such an incredible setting, great food, and fantastic company, engaging with wonderful people from across so many business sectors.

For those who didn’t get a chance to meet Roger at the Summer BBQ, join us for a special event to meet the new General Manager on the 8th of August. Book your FREE ticket here
