Monmouth Scientific appoint new Managing Director.

Alan Holcombe will take over from Founder and current Managing Director David Pomeroy.

LEADING Clean Air Solution manufacturers Monmouth Scientific Limited are pleased to announce the appointment of new Managing Director Alan Holcombe. Officially commencing his role from 1st January 2022, Alan will work closely with founder and outgoing Managing Director David Pomeroy from 1st December 2021.

Alan said: “I’m delighted to be taking over as Managing Director of Monmouth Scientific Limited at such an exciting time for the business, with the imminent relocation to our new facility in early 2022”.

Alan has many years of experience in senior management, including significant roles as Managing Director for several large multinational organisations. In addition to his leadership qualities, Alan also brings extensive senior level experience in several functional areas including Operations, Sales & Marketing and Purchasing. For the last six months, Alan has been working as General Manager at Monmouth’s metalwork fabrication company Uniform Engineering Limited.

Alan continued: “I look forward to leading the team through this major stage in our development and into the future, continuing to build upon the success delivered under David’s leadership”.

David will remain available to Monmouth following his departure as he will advise & assist the Company with their relocation project and consult back to Monmouth as required. In addition, David will work with Monmouth’s parent Company, The SDI Group PLC, on future company acquisitions.

Mike Creedon, SDI Group CEO said: “We are delighted that Alan is joining and heading up the Board of Monmouth Scientific Limited. His expertise and knowledge make him a natural successor to David, and he will see Monmouth & Uniform through and beyond their next development phases.

We are especially pleased that David will continue to be available to assist Monmouth and Alan going forward, and that he will be able to use his 33 years of experience in the Medical & Life Sciences industry to be part of The SDI Group acquisition team. We of course wish them both well”.
