Hatched Takes Flight with Firepool Move, AI Innovation and Team Growth

Tuesday 28th July, 2026

Award-winning Somerset creative agency Hatched is entering an exciting new chapter with significant investment in its team, services and future. This includes the launch of a dedicated AI division, the creation of new roles, and a move to the Firepool Digital Innovation Centre in Taunton.

The expansion follows a period of rapid growth for the agency, which was recently crowned New Business of the Year at the Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. While many agencies are scaling back, Hatched continues to invest in innovation, talent and technology to better support businesses across Somerset, the South West and beyond.

A New Home for Innovation

Hatched has officially relocated its headquarters to the Firepool Digital Innovation Centre, placing the agency at the heart of one of Somerset’s leading hubs for digital business and innovation.

The move provides space for continued expansion, greater collaboration with like-minded organisations, and access to an environment designed to foster creativity, entrepreneurship and emerging technologies.

For clients, it marks another step in Hatched’s commitment to delivering forward-thinking creative and digital solutions from a modern, collaborative workspace.

Investing in Local Talent

As part of its continued growth, Hatched is expanding its team and is currently recruiting for:

These new roles will strengthen the agency’s creative and technical capability while creating opportunities for local talent to build careers within Somerset’s growing digital economy.

Introducing Hatched Labs

One of the most significant developments is the launch of Hatched Labs – the agency’s dedicated AI and innovation division.

Led by newly appointed AI Lead Scott Mackey, Hatched Labs has been created to help businesses navigate artificial intelligence with confidence. Rather than chasing trends, the division focuses on practical AI solutions that improve productivity, streamline operations and unlock new creative opportunities.

Services will include AI consultancy, implementation, training and workflow development, enabling organisations to adopt artificial intelligence in ways that deliver measurable commercial impact.

Creativity and AI Working Together

Commenting on the announcement, Hatched Creative & Managing Director Gavin Sadler said:

This is a hugely exciting milestone for Hatched. Over the past few years we’ve built a fantastic reputation for helping businesses grow through creative thinking, exceptional design and digital marketing. Moving to the Firepool Digital Innovation Centre gives us the perfect platform for our next stage of growth.

“Artificial intelligence is transforming the way businesses operate, but many organisations don’t know where to start. There’s a lot of hype and misinformation surrounding AI. Our goal isn’t to replace creativity or people – it’s to enhance them.

“Hatched Labs exists to help businesses understand the technology, adopt it with confidence and use it in ways that genuinely save time, improve efficiency and create competitive advantage.

“Alongside this, we’re continuing to invest in people. We’re creating new jobs, developing new skills within the team and ensuring our clients have access to the latest thinking across branding, websites, marketing, content creation and AI. We believe creativity and technology should work hand in hand, and that’s exactly what we’re building.”

Looking Ahead

Since its launch, Hatched has grown into a full-service creative agency working with businesses, charities, public sector organisations and ambitious start-ups across the UK.

Today, the agency delivers branding, website design, digital marketing, graphic design, content creation, exhibitions, print and strategic marketing support – helping organisations build stronger brands and achieve sustainable growth.

The launch of Hatched Labs marks another important milestone in the agency’s evolution, reinforcing its commitment to helping clients embrace new technologies while maintaining the creativity, strategy and human expertise that underpin every successful project.

With a new headquarters, an expanding team and an ambitious vision for the future, Hatched continues its mission to help businesses Depart From Ordinary through creative thinking, practical innovation and measurable results.
