As usual, we know how quickly a deadline can come around, so we’re giving businesses a little extra time this year. The application deadline for the Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards 2026 has been extended to midday on Thursday 24th of September.
This will be the only extension we’re offering this year, so if you haven’t applied yet, please make sure you get your entry submitted before the new date.
The Awards exist to recognise the achievements, resilience and innovation of businesses across Sedgemoor and the wider area, celebrating everyone from ambitious start-ups to long-established family firms. Entry is completely free, and there’s no limit on how many categories you can apply for, so if you’ve had a strong year across several areas, put yourself forward for all of them.

With a little extra time now on the table, we’re encouraging any business that meant to apply, but hadn’t quite got round to it, to take this final opportunity.
