Monday 20th November, 2023

Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) is proud to announce its new status as the exclusive Patron of the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce. We hold the unswerving belief that by harnessing education and skills training, we can secure economic growth and prosperity for businesses and communities alike. It is therefore critical that we partner with organisations across the region to identify the skills needed to support growth.

“These partnerships will not only ensure we are delivering the necessary skills within our region but also mean that our business community is represented in strategic interactions with the government. This influence is vital to shape skills and funding policies that support the delivery of the expertise our region requires.”

Our partnership with the Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce arrives at a time when Somerset is experiencing an unprecedented period of inward investment and regeneration. BTC’s reputation is outstanding, and now, more than ever, Somerset needs a world-class institution to support and regenerate the economy. We are committed to ensuring that people have the skills they need to prosper within our society and to attract further inward investment.

BTC stands at the forefront of the drive to secure economic success for the region. In line with this, we have established a clear mission statement that outlines our commitment to achieving success. We hope you will join us in this partnership, playing a crucial role in delivering the skills necessary for economic growth and prosperity.
