Amicus Law announces partnership with divorce coach

Tuesday 17th March, 2026

Leading South-West legal firm Amicus Law has launched a new partnership with divorce coach, qualified Master NLP Practitioner and published author Claire Macklin.

Former solicitor Claire will collaborate with the family law team at Amicus Law, providing guidance to support couples as they navigate the emotional process of divorce. Services will include personalised coaching and advice to help individuals manage the challenges of separation, to support positive outcomes for all parties.

The services are available to all clients in conjunction with the legal counsel as delivered by Amicus Law, with regular new and exclusive advice available via the Amicus Insights blog page.

Lauren Preedy, Partner and Family Solicitor at Amicus Law, commented: “As a trained and accredited Resolution Together collaborative practitioner, my aim is to help couples navigate divorce with as little conflict as possible. Many of the people we work with need emotional guidance alongside legal advice, and when that support is handled effectively, it can greatly enhance collaborative law settlements.

“This partnership is a natural step forward for our team. Claire is widely respected in the sector and brings real expertise in helping individuals manage the personal challenges that come with separating lives and dividing assets during what is inevitably a sensitive period.”

Claire adds: “I’m delighted to be working alongside the team at Amicus Law. Divorce and separation are not just legal processes – they are deeply personal journeys that affect every aspect of someone’s life. By combining emotional support with expert legal guidance, we can help clients feel more confident and less overwhelmed as they make crucial decisions about their future.

“Our goal is to create a space where people feel truly supported, not just in resolving legal matters, but in navigating the personal impact of this transition. This partnership ensures clients aren’t facing these challenges alone, and that every step is handled with care, understanding and professionalism.”

Lauren Preedy and other team members at Amicus Law are accredited Resolution Together practitioners. Resolution Together is a member community of family justice professionals, with a common goal to provide a non-confrontational, constructive approach to resolving family law issues, helping separating families and their children achieve better outcomes in line with Resolution’s Code of Practice.

Claire Macklin is a specialist divorce coach, former solicitor and Master NLP Practitioner, and author of Break Up: From Crisis to Confidence. Claire supports individuals, providing practical strategies to navigate the emotional impact of separation and move forward with confidence.

Amicus Law offers confidential family law consultations from each of the 10 South West regional offices, with access to Claire’s divorce coaching services available upon request.
