Agratas launches Somerset careers interest pages ahead of role release

Monday 16th March, 2026

Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share a major careers announcement from partner member Agratas, as the company invites people across Somerset to register their interest in upcoming job opportunities linked to its battery manufacturing facility.

Under the message “Somerset – your future just got electric!”, Agratas has launched new interest pages for future roles in Production and Operations, Maintenance, and Quality, with each category currently marked for February 2026.

The announcement signals the next stage in Agratas’ growing presence in Somerset and gives local people an early opportunity to put themselves forward before vacancies formally go live.

Agratas says it is bringing world-class battery technology, hundreds of new jobs, and relentless energy to Somerset, and is encouraging interest from a wide range of people, including skilled engineers, production line operatives and those ready to begin a new career in clean energy.

The business is part of the Tata group and describes itself as a global battery company focused on supporting the energy transition by putting people first, innovating with integrity and working across the energy ecosystem in a way that benefits the wider world.

For Somerset, this latest announcement is another positive sign of momentum behind the Agratas development and the opportunities it is expected to create for local people, families and the wider economy.

Those interested in future roles can now register their interest directly with Agratas in the following areas:

  • Somerset Production and Operations roles
  • Somerset Maintenance roles
  • Somerset Quality roles

By registering early, applicants can be among the first to hear when live vacancies are announced.

To find out more and register your interest, visit the Agratas careers pages via the company website.
