PRM Waste Systems Expands Manufacturing Capacity with New Lowmoor Facility

Monday 3rd August, 2026

Wellington-based recycling machinery specialist marks major milestone in continued growth

PRM Waste Systems, the Wellington-based supplier and manufacturer of waste recycling and volume reduction machinery, is celebrating a significant expansion of its manufacturing operation with the opening of its new Lowmoor unit, on Lowmoor Industrial Estate, Wellington.

The new 4,000+ sq ft facility will be dedicated to larger machinery builds, with an initial focus on conveyor systems, adding substantial extra capacity alongside PRM’s existing facilities.

The expansion comes on the back of continued growth in PRM Projects, the bespoke engineering arm of the business responsible for larger, more complex builds. As demand in this area has grown, so has the need for additional space to design, build, and deliver these projects, and Lowmoor represents PRM’s direct response to that success.

Our continued growth in recent years is a testament to the dedication of our team and the trust our customers place in us. The opening of our Lowmoor facility marks a significant milestone for PRM Waste Systems, providing the space and capability to support the next phase of our growth. This investment strengthens our ability to innovate, improve efficiency, and continue delivering exceptional service and value to our customers. It also provides a solid platform for future growth, ensuring PRM Projects is well positioned to meet evolving customer needs and seize new opportunities in the years ahead.

Brian Moore, Managing Director of PRM.

PRM marked the opening with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday 30th July, attended by PRM directors and staff, alongside Roger Smith, head of the Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce, of which PRM is a member.

It’s fantastic to see a local business like PRM continuing to invest and grow within our incredible community. Manufacturing plays an important role in the success of our region and Lowmoor is a great example of the kind of success story the Chamber loves to celebrate.

Roger Smith, head of the Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce

Founded in 1998, PRM Waste Systems has spent over 25 years supplying, designing, installing, and servicing waste recycling machinery across the UK, Ireland, and further afield, living up to its strapline of “Innovative Waste Solutions.” The opening of Lowmoor marks another step forward in that journey, reflecting the company’s ongoing investment in its people, its facilities, and its ability to deliver for customers at scale.
