Bedrock Furniture Celebrates 25 Years of Helping Local Families Feel at Home

Monday 20th July, 2026

This year, Bedrock Furniture is celebrating 25 years of serving the Bridgwater community.

Since opening in 2001, we’ve had the privilege of helping thousands of local families find furniture for every stage of life – from first homes and growing families to retirement and everything in between. Along the way we’ve moved from our original showroom on Wylds Road to our new home on Bath Road, but one thing has never changed.

We’ve always believed that buying furniture shouldn’t feel like a sales pitch. It should be about listening, offering honest advice and helping people choose furniture they’ll love for years to come. That’s why you’ll never find pushy salespeople at Bedrock – just friendly faces who genuinely want to help.

As a family-run independent business, we’re incredibly grateful for the support we’ve received over the last 25 years. Many customers who first visited us years ago now return with their children, and even their grandchildren. Seeing familiar faces come back time and time again is something we’re incredibly proud of.

To mark our 25th year, we’ve recently launched the Bedrock VIP Club – a free way for customers to enjoy exclusive offers, competitions, furniture care tips and member-only benefits as our way of saying thank you for supporting a local independent business.

When we opened Bedrock 25 years ago, we simply wanted to offer good quality furniture, honest advice and great customer service. Those values are still at the heart of everything we do today.

We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who’s supported us over the years. Many of our customers have become friends, and seeing generations of the same family come back to us is the biggest compliment we could ask for. We couldn’t have reached this milestone without the support of our local community, and we’d like to thank every single customer who’s been part of our journey.

Sue Calladine, co-owner of Bedrock Furniture.

Whether you’re looking for a new sofa, a better night’s sleep or simply some friendly advice, we’d love to welcome you to our showroom on Bath Road, Bridgwater.

Family run. Honest advice. Furniture you’ll love.
