Pollards Yard brings contemporary new homes to a historic part of Bridgwater

Thursday 23rd April, 2026

Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share member news from Gibbins Richards as they launch Pollards Yard, a distinctive new homes development in Bridgwater that blends contemporary design with the industrial heritage of its historic town centre setting.

Nestled in the heart of one of Somerset’s oldest port towns, Pollards Yard is an exclusive development of 39 contemporary homes in Monmouth Street, Bridgwater, with prices starting from £260,000. The development includes a mix of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes, designed to offer modern comfort while respecting the character and local history of the site.

Pollards Yard includes 33 contemporary 2 or 3 storey homes, alongside 6 townhouses within a converted period building, creating a style of development that combines new build living with a nod to Bridgwater’s past.

The development is described as offering a unique style that reflects the site’s industrial heritage while delivering high levels of luxury and specification for buyers seeking a new home in an urban location.

The show home is now open, with a special Bank Holiday weekend opening from the 2nd of May to the 4th of May, open daily from 10 am to 4 pm, and then available by appointment thereafter. Visitors are also being invited to attend for exclusive incentives

Located at Monmouth Street, Bridgwater TA6 5EJ, Pollards Yard represents another positive investment in the town, helping to bring new homes, new life and renewed interest to a well-connected central location.
