Festive cheer and bold Christmas jumpers at Sedgemoor Chamber Annual Christmas Lunch

Wednesday 17th December, 2025

Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce recently hosted one of our favourite events of the year, our Annual Christmas Lunch, held at The Walnut Tree Hotel in North Petherton on the 10th of December.

The Christmas Lunch is always about more than good food. A bit of festive cheer and a few silly jumpers help to break down barriers and make it easier for people to talk, connect and celebrate their successes. This year was no exception, with plenty of seasonal outfits and a warm, friendly atmosphere throughout the afternoon.

We would like to say a particular thank you to Lisa and Justin from Imprints, who kindly sponsored the event. Imprints has been a go to name for branded workwear, uniforms and merchandise across Somerset and the South West for many years, helping businesses make a lasting impression through high quality embroidery, printing and personalised garment solutions. We are currently working with Lisa and Justin on new Chamber merchandise for the team and we are very excited!

Festive fashion also had its moment. There was strong competition for best dressed, with Roger turning heads in a Christmas jumper gifted by Imprints, a choice that clearly showed how well they know him, and David Baum arriving in a full Christmas suit, showing real commitment to the theme.

Events like the Annual Christmas Lunch play an important part in Chamber life. They give members space to build relationships away from day to day pressures, to reflect on the year just gone and to look ahead to new opportunities in the year to come.
