Spotlight on Local Charity: On Your Bike

Monday 8th July, 2024

Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted an event on the 5th of July in collaboration with On Your Bike, a charity dedicated to providing training and support for individuals facing social exclusion, physical disabilities, mental health challenges, and more.

The event, held at the On Your Bike Centre in Bridgwater, offered attendees a unique opportunity to meet the team behind the charity and learn about their impactful work. Participants were given a tour of the facilities and an understanding of the charity’s mission and achievements.

The event highlighted the charity’s commitment to helping ex-service personnel, ex-offenders, the homeless, and the long-term unemployed by training them in bicycle repair and maintenance. This initiative equips individuals with valuable skills and fosters a sense of community and support.

If you have any bikes to donate or need repair/services, head to On Your Bike.
