Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce Launches Retail Sub-Group to Boost Collaboration and Support within the Retail Sector

Thursday 13th July, 2023

Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the launch of its Retail Sub-Group, a dynamic initiative aimed at fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and creating valuable support opportunities within the retail sector. All retail businesses operating in Bridgwater are cordially invited to attend the inaugural meeting of the sub-group on Thursday, 10th August, at 5.30pm.

The meeting will be held at Timeless Images, located on Cornhill, and will be jointly hosted by Chamber Manager Diogo Rodrigues and Timeless Images owner Rose Stacey. As a relaxed gathering, attendees will have the chance to connect with fellow retail professionals, exchange insights, and share views on the future of the retail sector in Bridgwater. Refreshments will be provided.

“We are thrilled to launch the Retail Sub-Group as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the growth and success of the retail sector in Bridgwater,” said Diogo Rodrigues, Bridgwater Chamber Manager. “This platform will provide a unique opportunity for local businesses to come together, share knowledge, and collaborate for the betterment of the entire community. We encourage all retail businesses, regardless of Chamber membership, to join us for this exciting inaugural meeting.”

The Retail Sub-Group aims to create a close-knit network of retail businesses, enabling the exchange of best practices, facilitating shared learning experiences, and identifying supply-chain and business support opportunities. By attending the sub-group meetings, retailers will have a direct channel to influence the Chamber’s initiatives and contribute sector-specific insights that will shape future undertakings.

“Through the Retail Sub-Group, we seek to create a vibrant community that fosters collaboration, innovation, and growth within the retail sector,” said Diogo Rodrigues. “We believe that by bringing businesses together and facilitating knowledge sharing, we can create a stronger, more resilient retail ecosystem that benefits us all. This sub-group will act as a valuable resource for businesses and will contribute directly to the Chamber’s endeavours.”

All retail businesses operating in Bridgwater are invited to attend the first meeting of the Retail Sub-Group on Thursday, 10th August, at 5.30pm at Timeless Images. Refreshments will be available.
