Vegetation work in Mount Street Car park

Thursday 21st January, 2021

Preparatory works are about to start on the Northgate Cinema and Leisure development in central Bridgwater, ahead of  making a formal construction start on site for in April.

Sedgemoor’s Clean Surroundings team will begin to remove vegetation on the Mount Street car park part of the site before nesting season begins. This work will be done in stages to fit in with the team’s other commitments

At Full Council on 22nd February, members will hear and debate the results of the recent consultation on proposals for the Brewery Field.

Sedgemoor’s on-going commitment to the Northgate development is part of the council’s strategy both for helping deliver the post-Covid recovery of the town centre and wider district, as well as setting the cornerstone for long-term success and sustainability.
