The Chamber Chat Podcast returns with an honest look behind the scenes of Somerset’s biggest business Expo

Tuesday 14th July, 2026

The latest episode of Chamber Chat, the podcast from Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce, is now live.

In episode two, Chamber Chair Matt Rudd and General Manager Roger Smith reflect on the success of the Somerset Business Expo, discussing the journey from a local business event to what has become Somerset’s biggest business Expo.

The pair share some of the stories behind the day, the impact it has already had on local businesses, and why collaboration, rather than competition, remains at the heart of everything the Chamber does.

The episode also looks ahead to the 2026 Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards, announces the date for next year’s Somerset Business Expo, and introduces Charlie, one of the Chamber’s T Level students, who shares his experience of working with the Chamber and his ambitions for the future.

Watch episode two below and let us know what you’d like us to cover in future Chamber Chat episodes.
