S Roberts Group invests in grab lorry to offer an all-in-one solution

Wednesday 14th September, 2022

Media release for S Roberts Group

A FAMILY-RUN waste management company from Somerset has recently invested in a grab lorry to be able to extend the waste services it provides (September 2022).

S Roberts Group’s grab lorry is ideal for DIY jobs or commercial sites where no loading equipment is available.

Beccy Roberts, Director of Waste Management at the Bridgwater-based company, explains: “The grab lorry we have purchased has many benefits, the main one being that it will allow us to turn up to building sites or people’s homes and collect the waste when there is no other means of loading a tipper lorry.

“It offers an all-in-one solution as no digger is required to load it, as it can both lift and transport waste. This means it is a real bonus for renovation projects or small sites where space is limited. Offering a complete solution like this could also save on fuel and additional vehicle costs.

“We offer reliable assistance and advice to our customers and are committed to ensuring that we operate sustainably. Our new grab lorry helps us do this.

“A grab lorry can deliver up to 16 tonnes of aggregates/topsoil or remove waste from commercial and residential sites, so is incredibly versatile.

“It can also be used to lift our new BoomBags. The Midi and Mega BoomBags are smaller than typical skips and are great for small clearances and DIY jobs. They are highly durable and strong enough for all types of waste, holding up to one tonne of waste, so are perfect for anyone who has an awkward space where a skip can’t be placed.

“They are available in two sizes, the Midi BoomBag, measures L90cm x W90cm x H90cm and the Mega BoomBag measures L180cm x W90cm x H70cm.”
