Finalists announced for the Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards 2026

Friday 2nd October, 2026

Sedgemoor Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the finalists for this year’s Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards, following what has been the biggest year yet for the Awards, with more than 160 entries received.

The Chamber team has now completed the difficult task of whittling those entries down to this year’s shortlists, and couldn’t be more excited to share them. Alongside the record number of entries, the Chamber has been thrilled to see so many new businesses from across the Sedgemoor area putting themselves forward for the first time, a brilliant sign of just how much energy and ambition exists across the local business community right now.

The quality of entries has also been noticeably higher than in previous years, which made shortlisting genuinely difficult in places. In several categories, the Chamber team found it so hard to separate the top entries that four businesses have been shortlisted instead of the usual three, a reflection of just how close and how strong, the competition has been this year.

It’s now over to the judges, who face the hard task of deciding this year’s winners from these shortlists. The results will be announced at the Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards ceremony on Friday 20 November at Batch Country House.
