Road construction underway at £150 million Bridgwater Gateway

Tuesday 13th February, 2018

Work is underway to build 1km of roads at the £150 million Bridgwater Gateway business park in Somerset.

Photos taken at the 100 acre development at J24 of the M5 show kerbs and ironworks now in place, ready for construction of high-specification office and industrial buildings in a landscaped setting.

Phil Wade, development manager at Bridgwater Gateway, which is being marketed by commercial property specialist Colliers International, said: “The roads that can now be seen emerging at Bridgwater Gateway are the most tangible sign so far of the extensive infrastructure work that has been taking place.

“Work is running to schedule and we are looking forward to delivering high-specification office and industrial buildings and welcoming our first occupiers later this year.”

Tim Davies, head of the South West and Wales for Colliers International, said: “Impressively rapid progress has been taking place at Bridgwater Gateway.

“As work progresses we are seeing increasing interest from a diverse variety of end-users seeking prime industrial and Grade A office premises in a strategic location.”
