Get your views on business support during the Coronavirus pandemic heard by Government

Friday 24th April, 2020

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has launched a nation-wide survey of business owners to help understand what Government support is working, where new policies are needed and what will be required for a post-crisis recovery.

Here at Bridgwater Chamber we are committed to supporting local businesses and are already lobbying the local authority and our local MP Ian Liddell-Grainger in regard to the financial support packages announced by the government so we would encourage you to complete the survey below and share your views in co-operation with the FSB.

FSB has worked tirelessly with Government at the highest level to highlight the significant difficulties faced by small firms during these hugely uncertain times.

FSB successfully lobbied for the package of measures announced by Government to support small firms through the crisis. However, many small firms continue to lack the necessary support they need.

FSB is committed to working continuously to represent the diverse nature and circumstances of small firms to Government and policy makers as they seek to navigate the crisis, but also as they look towards post-crisis recovery.

The link to the survey is here https://bit.ly/2XWC5XM and it runs until 9.30am on 30th April

With this survey FSB would like to understand the impact that the coronavirus has had on your business, your thoughts on the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme (CBILS) and your business’s role in the community.

This survey, which will take around 15 minutes to complete, is an opportunity to have your voice heard as FSB continues to provide robust evidence to Government, highlighting the myriad problems faced by small firms and seeking solutions.

Be assured that your individual responses, including information of any other businesses that you might name, are completely confidential.
