Dryad Gin Named Finalist in the Great British Food Awards 2025

Tuesday 12th August, 2025

We’re delighted to celebrate the news that Sedgemoor Chamber member Dryad Gin has been shortlisted in the Gin Category of the prestigious Great British Food Awards 2025.

From hundreds of entries nationwide, only the very best made it through, and Dryad Gin will now be judged by an impressive panel of celebrity food and drink experts, including Raymond Blanc OBE, Merlin Griffiths, Sally Abé, Olly Smith, Jack Stein, Vivek Singh, and Somerset’s own William Sitwell.

The Great British Food Awards recognise the UK’s finest food and drink producers, celebrating excellence in flavour, quality, and creativity. Winners will be announced on 28th October 2025.

Inspired by nature, mythology, and traditional craft, Dryad Gin is distilled with wild botanicals such as blackthorn blossom, gorse flower, rowan berries, and oak — each carefully chosen for both flavour and story.

We wish Dryad Gin the very best of luck in the finals and look forward to seeing their creativity and craftsmanship celebrated on a national stage.
