The Chamber of Commerce provides a forum that enables us to reach local businesses and share updates on the Bridgwater Tidal Barrier Scheme.  The barrier is an important asset for Bridgwater and is fundamental to continuing business confidence and investment in the area.  We will aim to maximise opportunities for local businesses during the construction phase of the barrier.  We will achieve this by using technology and manufacturing techniques that could be supplied locally.

We look forward to continuing to work with the Chamber of Commerce on this important project over the next 5 years.
