ALLSTARS SPORTS BOWL OPENS AT BRIDGWATER’S NORTHGATE YARD

Wednesday 15th March, 2023

Allstars Sports Bowl, Bridgwater’s brand new eight lane bowling and leisure complex has officially opened at Northgate Yard. The attraction is the second outlet to open at Northgate Yard after the 7-screen cinema from Scott Cinemas, with Nando’s and La Kasia Tapas & Cocktail to follow later this year.

The new complex features eight bowling lanes, a karaoke room, smart darts, shuffleboards, and pool tables, as well as large TV screens showing all the latest sporting action.

The Allstars Sports Bowl leisure complex is the brainchild of entrepreneurs Pete and Sally Wallington who last Summer opened their first bowling alley in Weston Super Mare.

Pete Wallington, Managing Director of Allstars says, “The time has finally arrived, and we are officially open in Bridgwater! The whole Allstars team and I are very excited to start welcoming people through the door of our Northgate Yard venue. We’ve got activities and packages to suit all kinds of groups and our stylish industrial decor and mouth-watering food menu will bring the bowling experience into the 21st century.”

We want to thank every member of the team for working so incredibly hard. Please bear with us in our first couple of weeks as we get everything running like a well-oiled machine. We hope Bridgwater locals and visitors alike, find as much joy in the alley as we have had in building it for you.”

Cllr Alan Bradford, Chairman of Sedgemoor District Council, says, “We are delighted to see the opening of Allstars Sports Bowl this week. It’s another fantastic addition to the Northgate Yard development, offering locals and visitors to Bridgwater outstanding leisure activities. We wish the new Allstars team well as they begin to welcome people through the doors this week.”

Allstars Sports Bowl joins Scott Cinema which opened in October and has already welcomed more than 25,000 people through the doors to its state-of-the-art cinema complex.

Later in the year, the cinema and bowling venues will also be joined by iconic national restaurant, Nando’s as well as a new independent restaurant, La Kasia Tapas & Cocktail.

Allstars Sports Bowl is open every day from 10am to midnight, with later closing hours on Friday and Saturday when necessary.
