Westcotts celebrate Somerset Businesses with the Somerset Business Awards

Saturday 7th October, 2023

Westcotts is delighted to be celebrating businesses across Somerset by supporting the Somerset Business Awards 2023. With offices across Somerset, including Bridgwater and Somerton, the Westcotts team have helped businesses to thrive across the region.

The Somerset Business Awards are an opportunity to recognise and celebrate business success across the county. The event itself is a fantastic occasion for businesses of all sizes and sectors to meet, be inspired and showcase their achievements.

There are 14 award categories to enter including Start-up of the Year, which Westcotts is sponsoring. Westcotts have provided personalised and expert advice to a range of start-up clients so supporting young and new businesses in the region seemed a natural fit. Excitingly, Kelly Davies, Partner at Westcotts, will be part of the judging panel for the Start-up of the Year category. On 21 September, the team attended the launch event of the 19th annual awards where they heard about the fantastic new categories open to businesses, like the new Business and Resilience Growth Award, as well as meeting fellow sponsors.

Kelly Davies, Westcotts Partner at the Bridgwater and Somerton office said: “Somerset has a rich tapestry of businesses, so I’m delighted that we are sponsoring these awards to celebrate what the county has to offer. The awards really are a brilliant opportunity to showcase the business talent in the region, some of which Westcotts has supported with their accountancy needs.

“I’m looking forward to hearing about the fantastic new start-ups in Somerset, so make sure you spread the word and encourage businesses to enter.”

Entries are now open until the 24th November 2023, so make sure to get your application in soon by visiting their website.
