We want your views on the Celebration Mile in Bridgwater

Tuesday 22nd February, 2022

A public drop-in session is planned for Tuesday, March 1st between 1600 hrs and 1900 hrs in the Town Hall in Bridgwater where plans and ideas will be on show for the next part of the Celebration Mile – Angel Crescent, Clare Street and Eastover.

Under the auspices of the Bridgwater Town Deal, we are very keen that residents and businesses have to chance to study the plan, ask questions of the staff who will be on hand to discuss and answer any queries.  All comments will be fed into the business case that will be submitted to the government in May

The key ambition of the ‘Celebration Mile’ is to create a pedestrian-friendly route from the railway station to the docks, taking in the history of Bridgwater.  Plans will show plans for street furniture (bins, lampposts, seats), shared areas, paving, lighting, street trees, public art and improved signage.

If you can’t make it to the drop in session, please email any thoughts or comments to BridgwaterTownBoard@Sedgemoor.gov.uk
