Trustee Board Member for Brainwave

Do you share in our passion and ambition to deliver high quality, compassionate and ‘life changing’ therapies to ‘unlock’ the potential of disabled children? Then take a step towards joining Brainwave…

We currently have vacancies on our board of trustees and in particularly would be keen to hear from those with experience in the following areas:


• ‘Lived experience’ – current, or former service users, for example a parent of a disabled child
• Provision of health (therapies), and/or social care for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
• Practising or recently practising qualified accountant (Treasurer role)
• PR or communications and marketing
• Retail – charity shops or commercial
• Fundraising

The time commitment is approximately one day per month and meetings can be attended online or in person. A full induction will be available and ongoing support provided, as required.

It is an exciting time to be joining Brainwave, as throughout 2022 we will be celebrating our 40th year of providing ‘life-changing’ therapies for disabled children and their families. This could be anything from a child walking or feeding themselves, to counting or forming sentences.
