Presentation to Secret World for winning ‘Charity of the Year’

The presentation to Secret World of £1000 bursary as a reward for winning Charity of the year at the recent “Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards” took place today at their headquarters in East Huntspill, near Highbridge.

On presenting the award, the Chamber management team were shown some of the very important work they carry out to save our local wildlife. Steve Leahy, stated that they were very pleased to present this, and hope it helps maintain this very important work.

Taking place this weekend at the centre, is their annual Easter Fun Weekend:-

A fun family day out to raise vital funds for British Wildlife

Join them for some family fun at Secret World this Easter and discover their family trail through their beautiful countryside surroundings. Meet their resident birds of prey and hear their stories. Enjoy fascinating talks about the animals they help. Games and nature activities for all the family and Fun dog show – Saturday 20th April Get creative and paint your own pixie door BBQ and market stalls Saturday 20th April, Sunday 21st April and Monday 22nd April 10am – 4pm… Not to be missed!
