We are currently seeking new Board Members with expertise in the following sectors:

• Construction
• Hospitality
• Employment/Human Resources (HR)

Your Responsibilities

As a Board Director, you will:

• Attend monthly Board meetings to guide strategic decisions and support Chamber governance.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of the Chamber’s Business Plan.
• Collaborate with the Chair and General Manager on budget setting and financial oversight.
• Join informal networking and social events to build camaraderie with fellow Board members.
• Represent the Chamber at least 3 open events annually.
• Offer your professional insights and guidance to help the Chamber grow and succeed — even beyond the boardroom.
• Support lobbying and influencing initiatives aligned with the Chamber’s priorities.
• Be a champion for local business, encouraging new members to join the Chamber.
• Carry out any additional duties agreed upon by the Board.
