Coronavirus Update for our Sedgemoor Business Excellence Awards – Event POSTPONED

Monday 16th March, 2020

In relation to future events and more specifically the Sedgemoor Business excellence Awards scheduled for 26th of this month, we have taken the stance that we will have to POSTPONE all up and coming events in view of the increased threat from Corona Virus outbreak and spread.

In relation to the Sedgemoor Business Awards, and to avoid a massive loss for the Chamber we are trying to postpone in its current state and devise a different date once the danger has passed. This will mitigate huge losses for the Chamber and all of your support regarding this action would be really appreciated and ensure a great event to come later in year.

All of the work has been done and tickets sold, so once we have agreed dates with the Canalside (currently this is fluid) we will obviously contact all involved and honour all ticket sales and winners, prizes etc which are all completed to date.

To all sponsors and applications and suppliers, your help in making this a very successful event in the safe future would be much appreciated.

Sorry to have to take this action but feel this is out of our hands and thank-you for your understanding.

Regards

Steve Leahy
