Chambers Join Forces to Strengthen Business Ties at Networking Breakfast

Friday 19th January, 2024

In a collaborative effort to foster business engagement, Taunton and Bridgwater Chambers of Commerce joined forces to organise a networking breakfast event. The gathering, held at The Canalside in Bridgwater, provided a unique opportunity for members of both chambers to connect, share insights, and strengthen professional relationships.

Bethan Turner, Membership & Events Manager at Taunton Chamber of Commerce said, “Taunton Chamber and Bridgwater Chamber have been collaborating on a number of initiatives and events to increase the support and opportunity offered to companies across the area, and today was a real example of these wider chances to make new connections and gain insight from fellow businesses on topics that really make a difference in gaining an advantage. We look forward to working together on more exciting projects in the coming months.”

The highlight of the event featured a presentation by The Outsourced Recruitment Company, offering valuable tips and sector insights to assist businesses in navigating the challenges of recruitment and retention during this demanding time of year. Attendees engaged in lively discussions, gaining valuable knowledge to enhance their businesses’ attractiveness and resilience.

Diogo Rodrigues, Manager of Bridgwater Chamber of Commerce said “Collaboration between Taunton and Bridgwater Chambers opens doors to a wealth of opportunities for our members. It’s inspiring to see the impact of bringing together businesses from various sectors.”

He added, “We extend our gratitude to The Outsourced Recruitment Company for their insightful talk around recruitment. It’s noteworthy that they’re a member of both chambers, highlighting the synergies that exist when businesses from Taunton and Bridgwater come together.”
