Bridgwater Chamber Welcomes Creative Dynamo Mel Downing to Board

The Bridgwater Chamber is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mel Downing, Creative Director of Design Hive, to its board of directors. Mel brings over two decades of expertise in branding, graphic design, website development and business consulting, making her a valuable asset to the Chamber and its members.

Mel is spearheading the design and creation of the new  “Bridgwater InBusiness” Chamber magazine, showcasing her commitment to enhancing the Chamber’s visual identity and communication strategies. Her vast experience includes co-founding Not Monkeys Recruitment and serving as a business consultant for Somerset Business Consultants, as well as contributing to Somerset Council as a mentor for Somerset businesses.

Bridgwater Chamber Chairman Gavin Roberts expressed enthusiasm for Mel’s appointment, stating, “Mel Downing’s creative prowess and extensive business knowledge align perfectly with our mission to support local businesses. We are confident that her insights will contribute significantly to the growth and success of the Bridgwater Chamber and our members.”
