Award-winning chauffeur firm Hilton-Ames returns with its latest En Route newsletter

Thursday 24th September, 2026

Hilton-Ames Ltd, the multi award-winning executive chauffeur service, has relaunched its customer newsletter, En Route, with a September 2026 edition packed with news from a busy year for the business.

The headline change is at the top. Paul Newman has taken over as Managing Director, backed by new Operations Manager Eva Conibear, who steps up from her role as Head Chauffeur, with shareholder Louise Carden continuing her support. A new logo marks the fresh chapter, though the company is clear that the exemplary service levels, chauffeurs and cars its customers rely on remain exactly the same. In his message to readers, Paul praises the chauffeur team for delivering a seamless transition while the business changed around them.

It has also been a successful year for recognition. Hilton-Ames has added another Gold Award for its community work raising money for Hospiscare, its third Gold in as many years, to a growing list of national honours that includes Chauffeur Operator of the Year.

That community spirit shows up strongly in the newsletter’s round-up of The Funder Games, the summer charity competition in aid of Hospiscare. Thirteen businesses are taking part this year, competing across 11 events from May to late September, from dodgeball and rowing to football, ten-pin bowling and escape rooms. Last year’s games raised over £6,500 for Hospiscare, and this year’s total has already passed that.

For local businesses, the edition is a good reminder of what can happen when companies team up for a cause, and a chance to see how a service business has adapted through a period of change. The newsletter also includes a fun look at the world’s top brands by industry, a new monthly feature showcasing the Hilton-Ames fleet, and an invitation to readers to contribute to future editions.

Businesses interested in getting involved in next year’s Funder Games can email Paul Newman at paul@hiltonameschauffeurs.com, and full results and event details are available at www.thefundergames.com.
