Bridgwater & Taunton College T Level students benefit businesses with top results

Bridgwater & Taunton College (BTC) is proud to announce that our T Level students have achieved exceptional results this year, with a significant number attaining distinctions. These results highlight the quality of our students and the potential they bring to the workplace.

Louise Rowley, Deputy Principal at BTC said “I am absolutely delighted for our T Level students. Their results are superb, the students and lecturers should be so proud these results are really impressive and are a testament to their hard work and dedication. The results are among the best in the country and demonstrate the exceptional calibre of our graduates.”

Our T Level students in Health, Early Years, Construction and Design, Surveying and Planning have excelled, with 100% achieving high grades. These students are now progressing to prestigious university placements and highly competitive degree apprenticeships, equipped with the skills and knowledge to make an immediate impact in their chosen fields.

Digital T Levels also saw remarkable success, with 90% of students attaining high grades, while our Business T Level students achieved an impressive 70% high-grade profile.

Sam Reilly, Assistant Principal, added, “T Levels are a brilliant qualification, offering students practical industry experience that enhances their learning and translates directly into the workplace. The high volume of merit and distinction grades our students have earned is a reflection of their hard work and the real-world skills they’ve gained through their industry placements.”

T Levels would not be possible without the support of our employer partners providing students with their industry placements. The industry placement is a unique characteristic of the T Level where students not only gain a prestigious qualification, but they also gain valuable skills and knowledge in their chosen career, equipping students with real workplace insights.

Employers who have partnered with BTC to host T Level students have seen the benefits. Paul Titmuss of Bristol Website Design shared, “Hosting T-Level students has enriched my business by bridging skills gaps, lightening the workload, and opening up new opportunities for growth. It’s an investment in talent with boundless returns.”
