Business Growth Strategy Forum
11 February – Devon | 25 February – Somerset

These are one day interactive workshops that give business owners a framework to write a Business Growth plan and the support needed to implement it.  These Seminars are aimed at owners and leaders of established businesses with 5 or more employees that want to accelerate their growth.

Rural Development Programme (RDPE) Grant Fund Round 3 is now open

A third round of the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE) Grant funding, for projects in England which create jobs and growth in the rural economy, opened on the 1st November.
You must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) form before midnight on 16 February 2020.

South West Manufacturing Barometer

South West Manufacturing Performance at 10 year low – and why robots are not yet the answer!
The latest South West Manufacturing Barometer report reveals that just 18 per cent of SME manufacturing businesses have adopted robots, with another 13 per cent saying they plan to start using them.

Digital Skills Network – Tech Tasters

Register your interest now
In February 2020 the Digital Momentum Programme will be running a series of 5 fun, hands-on one-day ‘Tech Tasters’ in partnership with South Devon College:

Location: South Devon College, Paignton

Each event will be a stand-alone training opportunity. More information will be available in early January 2020 but people can register their interest now.
This programme is open to women living in Somerset, Devon, Plymouth or Torbay. It is also open to males living in certain areas in the region.

NatWest event: Cyber Crime And Scams Awareness
28th January | Bridgwater & Albion Rugby Football Club | 9.30 – 11.30

NatWest are pleased to be able to bring you a morning highlighting Cyber Crime, Cyber Security and Scams Awareness. There will be two presentations on how to stay safe and secure from scams, what to look out for, how to mitigate against the risks and a look at some live examples that are currently taking place.
