DESCRIPTION:Our Adult Mental Health Awareness Course is FREE for SME’s and sole traders working in sectors highlighted as most impacted by Covid\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this event\n\n\nNew Leaf is working with the Somerset Public Health Team to deliver workplace emotional wellbeing training to small and medium sized (SME) businesses across Somerset. \n\n\n\n\nOur next free training event as part of the SME Wellbeing project is a half day Mental Health Awareness Course certified by Mental Health First Aid England to be held on Wednesday 11th May. Its free to sole traders\, SMEs and Micro providers based in Somerset working in: \n💚  Construction \n💚  Farming and agriculture \n💚  Arts and entertainment \n💚  Health and social care \n💚  Visitor economy so hospitality etc \nThis course is perfect to give you a good solid introduction to mental health and Wellbeing and become part of your wellbeing journey in your business. Courses are funded by Public health and Somerset County Council. \nIt is an introductory session to raise awareness of mental health. \nLearning takes place through a mix of presentations\, group discussions and workshop activities. SUMMARY:Ruby Ball - Celebrating Brainwave's 40th Anniversary
DESCRIPTION:We have our first ever fundraising ball in the SW on 21 May\, at Taunton Cricket Club\, (rearranged from December 2021)\, and this is part of our 40th anniversary celebrations\, see flyer attached. \nThe pandemic has been tough for everyone\, particularly the families we support and our finances\, with over £1m in lost revenue.
