DESCRIPTION:Adult MHFA Two Day course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider. This course is now being delivered online. We have trained 269 people as Mental Health First Aiders. \nOnline ~ 30th June and 1st July 2021 \nThis course covers the areas listed below but not in this order.  \nMental Health First Aiders have:  \n\nAn in depth understanding of mental health and the factors that can affect wellbeing\nPractical skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues\nConfidence to step in\, reassure and support a person in distress\nEnhanced interpersonal skills such as non-judgemental listening\n\nThey have received excellent feedback from recent attendees \n“ I found this course so interesting and learnt so much.
