SUMMARY:Green for Growth - Online Session
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a FREE zoom session to discuss some of the practical steps your business can take to reduce your carbon footprint and Grow Greener \nWe’ll be joined by Jacqui Redman\, Training Coordinator at Trelleborg Sealing Solutions\, who will share some some of the steps Trelleborg have taken on their journey to Net Zero and answer your questions. \nThis session is intended to be conversational so please come along ready to share your experiences\, ideas and questions with other fellow businesses. \nWhen? Thursday 3rd November\, 11 to 12 \nWhere? Zoom. Please register with your e-mail address & a link will be sent to you before the event date. \nWhy? In June 2019\, the UK Government committed to reducing the UK’s net greenhouse gas emissions by at least 100% by 2050\, compared to 1990 levels. This target is known as net zero\, and milestones towards moving to a net zero emissions economy are now set down in UK law. By encouraging sectors\, industries\, organisations and individuals to work together in cutting carbon emissions\, the hope is that\, over the coming decades\, the UK can achieve its net zero ambitions and\, as a consequence\, help reduce global warming and the effects of climate change. Going green can boost your competitiveness\, lower costs\, and boost your business’s reputation with your customers and staff.
